Thema: what makes a "CLUB" Date: 28.04.2004 Beitrag: I really have to ask this... as people complain the we are not a "club" but an "internet community" i would like to know the difference. 1.We get together once a month. So do other clubs. 2.We help each other with tips and tricks for our cars. So do other clubs 3.We have stickers. So do other clubs 4.We have a website so we can communicate with others. So do other clubs What they have that we dont is 2 things: The registration fee usually causes problems because noone knows where the money goes and what it gets used for. The problems come from HAVING to do things instaed of it all being fun. So if anyone can tell me what the difference is I would really like to know.
(sorry I am not writing all of that in German)

I am not agree with those people, but it doesnt matters what they think or feel about us. I guess, that those hav'nt so a support or so a fellowship in their club, like it is in the BMW-Syndikat. I dont care about them them. Sers XM Wer bremst verliert! |

Aber ich hab so in etwa verstanden um was es geht. Ein großer Unterschied zwischen dem Syndikat und einem normalen Club besteht darin, dass es hier keine Vereinsmeierei gibt.

---------------------------------------------------------- Autor: Nicore Datum: 28.04.2004 Beitrag: @bmwharry: Hier mal so'ne freie Übersetzung: Zitat: @BILAL: I had quite the same problem when I decied to grow up the "BMW Team Oberhavel". They don't like it that much that some group of BMW drivers call themself a "club" but they accept it as long as this "club" is not doing some commercial or business stuff in the name of "BMW" to reach more success or whatever. Then they kick your ass. In a "club" you mostly have a clear strukture or hierarchy. There might be a boss, someone who deals with the money and taxes and stuff, someone who cares about the memberships or meetings etc... all in all like a small company. The "BMW Syndikat" which is a fan-community with non-commercial aims is just a platform that leads people from everywhere together because they have the same interests. ________________________________________________

---------------------------------------------------------- Autor: Pimboli Datum: 29.04.2004 Beitrag: And the last thing that makes a club a club has its roots in the German legality. When you want to get the "e.V." (registered association) - for example "BMW Syndikat e.V."- you have to sign up in the German "Vereinsregister" what causes a lot of trouble and problems, even legal problems. You need: 1.) a board of directors And the thing that heavily weights: all members have to pay a membership due!! So, f*** off......WE ARE A COMMUNITY where all the people have fun...free of charge! We don't need a cup for the biggest club!! WE ARE THE BIGGEST "CLUB"! :o) Alex Bearbeitet von - Pimboli am 30/04/2004 09:34:59
